Responsibilities
- Prototype, design, and develop tools to benchmark platform and middleware performance.
- Model workloads and plan, execute, and analyze performance tests.
- Conduct benchmarking, stress, load, endurance, scalability, and API performance testing.
- Identify bottlenecks across application, database, API, and infrastructure layers.
- Analyze JVM behavior, memory, CPU usage, thread dumps, and garbage collection behavior.
- Monitor applications and distributed systems using performance monitoring tools.
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, QA, SRE, and product teams to improve performance.
- Support production monitoring and performance tuning.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar performance tools.
- Experience with workload modeling, test planning, execution, and analysis.
- Expertise in performance benchmarking, stress, load, endurance, and scalability testing.
- Strong knowledge of application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
- Experience identifying bottlenecks across application, database, API, and infrastructure layers.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with API performance testing and strong SQL and database performance analysis skills.
- Ability to analyze JVM, memory, CPU, thread dumps, and garbage collection behavior.
- Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and leadership skills.
- Exposure to production monitoring and performance tuning is preferred.
