Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build enterprise-grade integrations using Workato ONE for intelligent workflow automation
- Design, develop, and maintain API integrations across business-critical enterprise applications
- Use AI-powered automation within Workato to improve efficiency, resiliency, and process optimization
- Establish reusable integration architecture patterns, frameworks, and governance standards
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, lead discovery, assess ROI, and translate needs into technical solutions
- Lead integration initiatives from concept through deployment, including sprint execution, technical reviews, and delivery accountability
- Provide senior-level escalation support for reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to enable API access and integration patterns for internal tools and automations
- Set integration standards and mentor engineers
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an API Developer or Integration Engineer in enterprise environments
- 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Workato, ideally Workato ONE
- Expertise with Workato recipes, including error handling, monitoring, batch processing, custom connectors, SDK development, and API collections
- Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms across HCM, ERP, CRM, finance, or similar domains
- Expert knowledge of enterprise integration best practices, EAI/SOA patterns, and iPaaS architectures
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SOAP, RBAC, and API security best practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, Jira/JSM, Confluence, and CI/CD workflows
- Understanding of HR data models, compliance requirements such as GDPR and SOC 2, and secure handling of sensitive PII
- Interest in AI-assisted development workflows and intelligent automation
- Workato Foundations or Integration Developer certification is a bonus
- Experience with additional iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica is a bonus
- Experience with cloud platforms, IaC tools, or identity and SSO integrations is a bonus
- Background in HR technology consulting or HRIS implementations is a bonus
