Base Salary
$130k - $500k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate services for authentication and authorization, credential brokering, routing, sandboxing, and orchestration.
- Define interfaces for agent developers and maintain an easy-to-follow paved path.
- Build an event-driven backbone with idempotent ingestion under horizontal scaling.
- Own deployment models across hosted environments, customer VPCs, and multi-cloud deployments.
- Ensure tenant isolation and enforce per-run quotas and spending boundaries.
- Own latency, throughput, cost per run, and production debugging as platform volume grows.
- Set technical direction for owned platform areas and partner with Applied AI engineers on deployment challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building high-scale, complex software systems.
- Experience building and operating a platform depended on by other engineers, including ownership of architectural decisions.
- Hands-on experience with several platform primitives, including authentication and authorization, secrets, isolation, orchestration, egress, and durable state, across more than one cloud.
- Ability and motivation to improve system performance and cost after launch.
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous, loosely specified problems.
- Experience with LLM applications, agent frameworks or harnesses, evals, or deployed software is a bonus.
