Responsibilities

  • Implement secure login, identity, permissions, and access-control systems for physical hardware actions.
  • Develop control logic connecting web interfaces with status lights, emergency stops, operator consoles, and other hardware components.
  • Design resilient telemetry storage that operates during network outages and synchronizes with the cloud after reconnection.
  • Build multi-tenant backend infrastructure with strict customer data isolation and security.
  • Create low-latency communication pathways between web browsers and hardware controllers.
  • Implement audit logs connecting each physical hardware action to an authenticated user.
  • Work across server-side Python or C++ and client-side TypeScript applications.

Requirements

  • Professional experience designing granular user permissions and access-control levels in multi-user software environments.
  • Proficiency interfacing software with physical hardware through digital inputs and outputs.
  • Expertise with server-side Python or C++ and client-side TypeScript development.
  • Practical experience with network communication protocols between hardware and software.
  • Preferred experience with industrial communication standards, distributed systems, data-conflict resolution, real-time operating systems, or high-performance messaging systems.
  • Preferred experience building industrial human-machine interfaces or control panels for complex machinery.
  • Familiarity with Bazel or containerization for complex, multi-component software builds and deployments.
