Base Salary

$171k - $269k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate machine learning systems for personalized recommendations, engagement and activation journeys, cross-product expansion, and sales experiences.
  • Build reliable datasets, features, models, evaluation frameworks, and decisioning services for large-scale personalized customer journeys.
  • Design system architectures, run offline policy evaluations and online experiments, and monitor attribution, latency, quality, and fairness.
  • Define the evolution strategy for Growth ML capabilities and drive implementation across short-, mid-, and long-term goals.
  • Partner with product, engineering, data science, analytics, marketing, and sales teams to turn ambiguous growth opportunities into measurable production capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in machine learning.
  • Expertise in Python and knowledge of Java and TypeScript, with familiarity with SQL, Spark, and cloud data environments such as AWS and Databricks.
  • Experience building and scaling machine learning models, datasets, and evaluation systems using large amounts of data.
  • Experience partnering with product, analytics, marketing, or sales teams on personalized customer journeys or sales-assist experiences.
  • Familiarity with contextual bandits, uplift modeling, recommender systems, policy evaluation, causal inference, or related decision-optimization approaches.
  • Preferred experience includes consumer or B2C SaaS, enterprise or B2B products, and ML applications in growth, personalization, recommendations, ranking, experimentation, or decisioning.
  • Preferred understanding of engagement, activation, conversion, expansion, and retention metrics and downstream business outcomes.
