Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems using AWS-based serverless, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
- Integrate GenAI, LLM technologies, and ML pipelines into production systems that personalize Prime customer experiences.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational excellence activities.
- Make technical decisions for cross-functional initiatives while balancing feature development, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Resolve operational issues and improve documentation, processes, and team resilience.
- Mentor team members on high-quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 3+ years of experience in the video games industry supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
