Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect connectivity solutions across aircraft networks, satellite and air-to-ground connectivity, cabin systems, and ground interfaces.
- Translate product and airline requirements into scalable, certifiable technical designs.
- Lead software development, deployment, integration, validation, and troubleshooting across hardware, network infrastructure, and aircraft systems.
- Establish development standards, system interfaces, integration frameworks, unit-testing strategies, and system-verification strategies.
- Lead and develop technical resources through mentoring, management, onboarding, and performance support.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, product management, systems engineering, international offices, customers, sales, and program teams.
- Monitor and resolve issues, deviations, process problems, and delivery risks, escalating them when appropriate.
- Create technical documentation and support field-ready software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of experience developing and deploying software, including significant experience in embedded or networked environments.
- 10+ years of experience with software project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and Go.
- Proven success delivering high-quality software in complex system environments.
- Strong software integration, validation, troubleshooting, and hardware/software interface experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring, managing, and developing technical teams.
- Experience with software development lifecycles, unit-testing frameworks, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior management experience is highly desired; aerospace or in-flight entertainment industry knowledge is a plus.
