Responsibilities
- Develop and operate large-scale distributed data platforms for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML applications.
- Optimize platform performance, reliability, and cost while automating operational processes.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Debug and resolve production, Kubernetes, Spark, and other complex technical issues.
- Build resilient data pipelines, reusable frameworks, and libraries.
- Contribute to high-availability, fault-tolerant systems and support the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software site reliability engineering or software development roles.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Golang, or Java.
- Experience coding for distributed systems and developing resilient data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expertise in designing, building, and operating critical large-scale distributed systems is preferred.
- Experience with multiple public clouds, multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters, and debugging Kubernetes or Spark issues is preferred.
- Experience with Airflow or DBT and understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts are preferred.
- Familiarity with GPUs, MLFlow, or Large Language Models is preferred.
- Strong data structures and algorithms, distributed systems, troubleshooting, secure coding, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Open source contribution experience and a track record of implementing innovative technical solutions are preferred.
