Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, resilient, high-performance Cloud Agent features supporting millions of endpoints.
- Design, architect, implement, operate, and maintain software systems end to end.
- Independently design moderate to complex modules with strong code quality.
- Work with multithreading, thread synchronization, parallel processing, IPC mechanisms, debugging, and performance-focused development.
- Apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on complex technical projects.
- Collaborate with other teams to obtain technical clarification and build consensus.
Requirements
- 2 to 8 years of hands-on C/C++ development experience on enterprise or consumer product lines using Linux, Unix, or Solaris.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related listed engineering program, including M.E./M.Tech, B.E./B.Tech, or MCA.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, synchronization, parallel processing, and IPC.
- Ability to design complex modules independently and build highly scalable, high-performance applications.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with C++11 and/or C++14 and unit testing frameworks.
- Exposure to cybersecurity or security technologies, networking technologies, SSL/TLS, and cryptography is desirable.
- Basic qualifications state 5 to 10 years of prior experience in the offered role or a similar software engineering role.
