Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end backend solutions using cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Design scalable, reliable, secure, testable, and maintainable software.
- Use domain modeling and optimized data access patterns to build business products.
- Investigate and resolve issues, prevent recurrence, and support systems through production and incident management.
- Maintain performance, operability, technology updates, and zero-downtime releases.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied experience.
- Recent hands-on professional experience as a backend software engineer.
- Experience coding in a recent version of Java.
- Experience designing and implementing unit, component, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, distributed systems, web technologies, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational data stores.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred experience in highly regulated environments, messaging frameworks, cloud-native microservices architecture, and AWS.
