Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain production trading applications.
- Build and improve research, trading, and production infrastructure in collaboration with quantitative researchers.
- Improve the scalability of production systems and maintain the production trading environment.
- Develop software to automate and improve deployment, configuration, and validation.
- Provide direct end-user support, troubleshoot problems, and upgrade applications.
- Monitor production trading systems and perform troubleshooting and break/fix support.
- Ensure completed code is checked into the source code control system.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and C++ with the ability to develop and maintain production applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working successfully with large datasets.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and responsibilities.
- Reliable and predictable availability.
