Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions for ETF technology platforms and critical business workflows.
- Build and integrate Java and Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, front-end applications, and relational database solutions.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams.
- Improve platform resiliency, scalability, maintainability, performance, observability, and operational stability.
- Apply clean coding, automated testing, code reviews, secure development practices, and disciplined release execution.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, tune systems, and reduce operational risk.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, delivery speed, testing, troubleshooting, and software quality.
- Provide technical guidance, influence engineering standards, and contribute to continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, front-end development, relational databases, automated testing, and enterprise application delivery.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Events, Spring Boot Actuator, Hibernate, JPA, and Spring Cloud components.
- Strong proficiency designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices using OAuth2, JWT, Eureka, Config Server, and API Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native engineering, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and observability is preferred.
- 4+ years of Test-Driven Development experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks such as Mockito and JUnit.
- Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber is a plus.
- 2+ years of functional testing experience with enterprise applications and end-to-end quality assurance processes.
- 3+ years of experience developing transactional systems with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, emphasizing performance and data integrity.
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms in regulated financial services environments, including production support, performance troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational resilience.
- Ability to work as a senior individual contributor, provide technical guidance, collaborate across teams, and drive delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude and Windsurf is required.
