Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for scalable, high-performance, cost-efficient systems and configurable multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Design self-service workflow, rules, reporting, data, and AI capabilities to reduce engineering overhead.
- Architect high-scale distributed data processing pipelines for batch and real-time workloads.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, model execution, infrastructure, compute resources, and cloud costs.
- Guide engineering teams on scalable microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native patterns, and architectural best practices.
- Create technical prototypes and proofs of concept to validate architecture decisions.
- Drive secure adoption of LLMs and agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle.
- Lead the Architecture Review Council, establish architectural standards, and facilitate cross-team reviews.
- Identify technical debt, resolve complex architectural trade-offs, and mentor engineering leadership.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in system architecture, data engineering, cloud engineering, or technical leadership.
- Experience designing multi-tenant architectures and configurable SaaS frameworks.
- Deep hands-on AWS expertise, including EKS, IAM, Lambda, and networking; GCP experience is a strong plus.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, caching strategies, and high-scale transactional systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML model execution, inference performance, cost trade-offs, and optimization.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Expert Java skills, strong Python skills, and knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Kotlin.
- Experience leading architectural review processes and establishing engineering standards.
- Experience integrating GenAI and ML methodologies into the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to manage strategic stakeholders and perform complex financial and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
- Preferred experience with high-volume real-time data processing, distributed streaming architectures, petabyte-scale data platforms, fraud prevention, identity verification, or authentication technologies.
