Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain situational-awareness algorithms for Drowsy Driver Detection, Traffic Sign Information, Automatic High Beam Control, and Glare-Free High Beam.
  • Design and implement feature logic, decision-making algorithms, and state management for camera-based ADAS functions.
  • Optimize algorithms using real-world driving data, simulation, and vehicle testing.
  • Analyze sensor and vehicle data, investigate field and test events, and troubleshoot complex system behaviors.
  • Define, execute, and assess validation scenarios across varied traffic, lighting, weather, and road conditions.
  • Ensure feature compliance with global regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, software, validation, calibration, safety, product, and regulatory teams.
  • Support Functional Safety, SOTIF, and ASPICE development activities and document designs, verification results, and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in ADAS, computer vision, machine perception, or automotive algorithm development.
  • Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
  • Experience with sensor-based algorithm development, data analysis, test-data analysis, and complex-system troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of image processing, computer vision, machine learning, or signal processing.
  • Preferred experience includes Driver Monitoring, Drowsy Driver Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition or Information, automotive lighting, camera-based perception, and image-processing pipelines.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, CarMaker, SIL, HIL, MIL, CANoe, CANape, ETAS INCA, automotive camera calibration, and scenario-based verification.
  • Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21448/SOTIF, FMVSS, UNECE regulations, and Euro NCAP requirements is preferred.
