Base Salary
$210k - $340k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive program-level decisions on RF system designs
- Research novel solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems
- Design, build, validate, and automate RF test benches for custom RF designs
- Build modular and scalable RF test infrastructure and Python/C++ test automation for design validation, qualification, and production
- Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, software engineers, and end users to design and validate RF systems
- Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware to evaluate performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline
- At least 8 years of professional development experience in C/C++ or Python
- Experience with spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers
- RF experience with antennas or communication systems
- Preferred: master’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline
- Preferred: experience testing active and passive RF devices including filters, amplifiers, mixers, and upconverters/downconverters
- Preferred: knowledge of gain, linearity, P1dB, ACLR, EVM, PAE, S-parameters, and input/output matching
- Preferred: experience with software design principles, software architecture, design patterns, and unit/integration testing
- Preferred: experience with thermal chambers, temperature forcing systems, and other environmental test equipment
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting software and hardware interactions, including network devices and lab instrumentation
- Preferred: experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and configuration management/version control software
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
