Base Salary
$133k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain API-first engineering infrastructure for Aladdin Graph, including schema repositories, governance, and production runtime systems.
- Develop scalable, high-quality software in Java, Python, and Golang.
- Work with distributed NoSQL storage, search and indexing platforms, Redis, event streaming and messaging systems, and container orchestration infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot production-style issues using Linux shell tools, logs, configurations, and basic networking.
- Improve API quality, consistency, developer experience, onboarding, and adoption through standards, tooling, and repeatable golden paths.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience involving large-scale software development and deployment.
- BS/MS in Computer Science from an accredited university or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Golang and willingness to learn.
- Experience with Linux shell and troubleshooting production-style issues.
- Preferred experience includes distributed event messaging, event-driven architectures, API frameworks, Google API Improvement Proposals, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, API governance, and API review practices.
