Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Automate recurring issue remediation and improve the operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Evaluate architectural designs, technical credentials, and technology applicability with vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Lead Software Engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of leading-edge technologies.
- Drive responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle tools and automation capabilities to improve delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in system design concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, and Azure or another public cloud provider such as AWS.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM for infrastructure as code on Azure.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Groovy.
- Understanding of public cloud architecture patterns for identity, networking, compute, and management.
- Experience applying Azure enterprise architecture patterns to integrations with on-premises systems.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, secure handling of data and inputs/outputs, resiliency, security, and coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, banking and financial services, automation, continuous delivery, Software Development Life Cycle practices, and cloud security principles.
