Lead Engineer - Test Automation

Responsibilities
- Learn and understand features of the Veeva Vault platform and its applications.
- Develop and maintain API and UI automation scripts.
- Use Git, Jenkins, and JIRA in daily development and test automation work.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to test automation.
- Perform code reviews and mentor team members.
- Work with managers to establish code-quality metrics for the test automation suite.
- Coordinate with scrum masters on sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Communicate status and collaborate with onshore and offshore managers.
- Contribute to recruiting initiatives supporting the growth of the Hyderabad development center.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software test automation experience.
- Strong experience with Java and object-oriented methodologies.
- Strong experience with automated test frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber.
- Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development and onshore/offshore collaboration.
- Experience at a product-based company.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and performing code reviews.
- Experience leading automation projects and participating in program or project management activities.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with Kotlin, Swift, Java, and React.
- Experience with Android and Mac platforms, functional testing, and debugging object-oriented software.
- Experience with mobile testing and automation using Appium, XCUI, Espresso, and KI.
- Experience developing mobile applications for Android and iOS.
- Life sciences or healthcare industry experience is preferred.
- Participation in hackathons or open source community activities is preferred.
