Responsibilities
- Act as the technical leader for an agile team throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and designers to implement enhancements and new applications.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
- Ensure continuous improvement practices support quality and time-to-market objectives.
- Share best practices, improve processes across agile teams, and mentor junior developers.
- Lead and drive company-level projects in collaboration with different agile teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years of native Android app development.
- Experience deploying applications to Google Play or local app stores, ideally with an application currently available in an app store.
- Strong knowledge of the Android platform and its UI components, event dispatch, network communication, and memory and battery efficiency.
- Experience working in an agile environment and understanding of design patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
- Experience consuming RESTful JSON APIs; RxJava experience is a plus.
- Passion for writing readable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
