Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to position Mapbox’s technical value.
Lead technical discovery to understand customer goals and requirements.
Design and present scalable architectures using Mapbox SDKs and APIs.
Build and deliver proof-of-concept solutions demonstrating customer value.
Apply expertise in GIS and location intelligence to solve customer problems.
Advocate for customer needs and provide feedback to influence product direction.
Stay current on mapping, mobility, and AI technologies.
Support customers in various industries including logistics and telecom.
Deliver rapid technical enablement through workshops and demos.
Drive customer success by accelerating time-to-value.

8+ years in solutions architecture or customer-facing engineering.
Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and verbal.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience with GIS, location intelligence, and geospatial data.
Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable architectures.
Strong business acumen and comfort working autonomously.
Experience responding to RFQs/RFIs with technical documentation.
Proficiency in web and mobile technologies, especially JavaScript.
Experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Excellent communication skills with technical and executive audiences.
