Responsibilities
- Collaborate with automakers to integrate SoundHound’s Voice AI into vehicles.
- Serve as the primary technical contact and subject-matter expert for automotive partners.
- Investigate, reproduce, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate integration issues.
- Prepare and run software validation procedures onsite at automotive partner facilities.
- Translate partner business needs into technical specifications and design short- and long-term solutions.
- File detailed tickets and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Technical Program Management teams on system improvements and feature requests.
- Build and maintain project plans, documentation, milestones, schedules, and deployment scope.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks while managing concurrent partner projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven software validation experience, particularly with AI- or audio-related software.
- Experience with Android, Linux, Python, C++, ASR, and AI technologies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and manage complex projects in an international environment.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, prioritization, and partner-management skills.
