Responsibilities
- Participate in change definition and design phases and contribute to solution quality.
- Create test plans and test cases covering application functionality and broader business processes.
- Trace test cases to design and requirements documents and agree test approaches with business SMEs and management.
- Execute tests, record results and evidence, and support issue identification for failed or conditionally passed cases.
- Maintain UAT test-environment stability and test connections with counterparties.
- Improve the LGT Crestone test framework in alignment with DevOps principles.
- Work with the Lead Quality Engineer on standardised test-data management.
- Test across Avaloq, data integration systems, APIs, and financial-services processes.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Computer Science or a related field are preferred.
- Experience testing a range of products and processes in financial services, or validating financial-services product rollouts within a business function, is required.
- Experience working in technology teams is required.
- Experience with test execution and coordinating end-to-end SWIFT message testing with counterparties is highly regarded.
- Experience building and maintaining test-automation frameworks is desirable.
- Experience tracking test cases in JIRA and sharing knowledge in Confluence is required.
- Exposure to traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies is required.
- Knowledge of wealth-management products and services, such as portfolio management, trading, settlements, payments, reconciliations, and corporate actions, is advantageous.
- Experience with the Avaloq platform is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, logical and methodical problem-solving, communication, proactive engagement, and priority-management skills are required.
