Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Trading team to define project scope, requirements, and milestones.
- Prepare design documentation and participate in architectural discussions.
- Build Go features for Talos’s Order Management System to support trading decisions and best execution.
- Add analytics and metrics to measure the impact of changes.
- Incorporate team feedback, iterate on work, and demonstrate project progress through regular demos.
Requirements
- Be a Class of 2028 student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Be proficient in at least one compiled language such as Go, C++, or Java.
- Have at least one previous internship involving backend systems in a production environment, preferably in a user-facing context.
- Have knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres.
- Prior trading systems experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical ability, self-direction, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
