Responsibilities
- Develop Angular applications to replace legacy AngularJS portals.
- Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET backend services and REST APIs for distributed compute workloads.
- Modernize legacy platform functionality while preserving business continuity.
- Support migration to Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Modernize deployment pipelines, release automation, CI/CD, and zero-downtime deployment capabilities.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and participate in code reviews.
- Improve platform scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, and operational resilience.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and software engineers.
- Participate in production support, on-call rotation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong experience with C#, modern .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software engineering principles.
- Experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and ability or willingness to work with OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud-native application development principles.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and understanding of Clean Code principles and software design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and collaborative cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred experience includes Azure Container Apps, Azure Batch, OpenTofu or Terraform, Playwright, SQL Server, Redis, SignalR, cloud-native platforms, and modernization of legacy enterprise applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, proactive problem solving, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.
