Responsibilities
- Engage with users to understand engineering workflows and translate needs into product requirements.
- Write clean, well-considered code and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Design 3D visualizations and build user interfaces that present AI model outputs.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive the adoption of best practices.
- Facilitate technical discussions and build consensus around technical decisions.
- Define requirements for large features and allocate work to team members.
- Design multi-service systems considering operational cost, performance, and reliability.
Requirements
- Experience with frontend architecture in React and TypeScript, as well as backend design in Python.
- Ability to work with large, established codebases and contribute incrementally.
- Track record of delivering in customer-facing or time-pressured environments.
- Instinct to treat customer engagements as a source of product insight.
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D data visualization techniques.
- Agile, collaborative working style with a commitment to code quality.
