Base Salary
$106k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and React.
- Design, build, and enhance scalable microservices and REST APIs.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
- Participate directly in development and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Define application, component, API, integration, and solution design approaches.
- Support modernization, enhancement, and rewrite initiatives for legacy applications.
- Design and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Conduct design and code reviews and champion engineering quality and continuous improvement.
- Partner with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, resiliency, and maintainability expectations.
- Work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska, five days per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Architect role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, React, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, software design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Experience with CI/CD, relational databases, and enterprise application development.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and guide development teams.
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and Identity and Access Management is preferred.
