Base Salary
$130k - $154k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software design, development, testing, and delivery in alignment with the platform architecture and business roadmap.
- Design and develop Java and Spring solutions, including microservices and RESTful APIs for AWS or containerized deployments.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, code reviews, delivery schedules, and quality and timeliness metrics.
- Lead developers in delivering scalable, high-quality applications to production and coach, mentor, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
- Communicate project status and technical updates to stakeholders, including recommended action plans.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define goals, timelines, solution roadmaps, and end-to-end delivery plans.
- Research emerging technologies and lead structured, risk-aware proof-of-concept initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT software development required; 7 years preferred.
- At least 3 years of hands-on production programming experience with Java and Spring.
- At least 3 years of experience building microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, deployed on AWS or as containerized workloads.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including Oracle or MongoDB.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality, scalable applications to production.
- Preferred qualifications include application ownership experience and the ability to align business stakeholders on goals, timelines, and solution roadmaps.
