Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.
- Educate and upskill developers on modern engineering practices, tools, and development platform products.
- Build technical demonstrations, hands-on workshops, prototypes, and code samples.
- Create technical content and documentation that simplifies complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and effective unit testing.
- Champion developer community growth through workshops, hackathons, meetups, and related enablement activities.
- Guide technical direction, advise stakeholders, and contribute to risk, controls, strategy, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in modern development practices, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python, Java, C#, or Go.
- Ability to build technical demos, workshops, prototypes, and code samples.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for audiences of all sizes.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly, validate ideas through proofs of concept, and collaborate effectively.
- Foundational understanding of AI concepts and experience with agentic applications.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered development environments and agentic IDEs.
- Experience in developer education, developer enablement, or technical advocacy is valued.
- Experience hosting technical workshops, hackathons, or meetups is valued.
- Familiarity with open-source software and community-driven development is valued.
- Experience implementing documentation-as-code practices and workflows is valued.
