Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-target tracking, track fusion, and threat discrimination algorithms.
- Develop high-performance real-time software that processes radar sensor data and maintains tracks on many simultaneous targets.
- Build and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments.
- Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes tracking, estimation, filtering, controls, estimation theory, digital signal processing, radar, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, machine learning, databases, web development, and modeling and simulation tools.
- Active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance is preferred.
