Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination algorithms for airborne threats.
- Develop real-time software that processes radar sensor data and maintains tracks for numerous simultaneous targets.
- Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
- Integrate tracking solutions with radar engineers and system architects into end-to-end defense systems.
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments.
- Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include tracking, estimation, filtering, controls, digital signal processing, radar, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, machine learning, database, web development, modeling and simulation experience, or an active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.
