Base Salary
$101k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications for end users and third-party integrations.
- Contribute to frontend and backend development using modern programming languages and software methodologies.
- Write functional and test code, automate build and deployment processes, and perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Apply secure coding practices and comply with software legal guidelines.
- Analyze user stories and translate requirements into software solutions.
- Collaborate on infrastructure planning and application functionality with cross-functional teams.
- Create product documentation and installation and maintenance procedures.
- Interact with end users to define system requirements and implement modifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 1+ years of hands-on software development experience, or a master’s degree in a related field with no prior professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Familiarity with Linux shells and command-line interfaces.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Ansible, Cobbler, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably SUSE.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Elastic, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Preferred qualifications include understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Java or C++.
