Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure supporting AI model inference at scale.
- Develop and maintain production AI services and applications, including retrieval augmented generation and autonomous agents.
- Define scalable technical solutions for ambiguous and evolving requirements.
- Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and engineering best practices.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and scalability of AI platform components.
- Uphold security best practices for AI systems and data.
- Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, with an additional two years of experience permitted as a substitute.
- Six years of software development experience.
- One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer—Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning—Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning—Specialty, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
- Experience building and maintaining production systems at scale.
- Experience designing and optimizing high-volume web application architectures.
- Strong systems integration experience across diverse technologies and platforms.
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience, preferably with AWS.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes administration and common deployment patterns.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience implementing observability solutions such as APM, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Ability to drive change and influence across teams or organizations.
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
