Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, scale, and optimize Databricks platform infrastructure and distributed processing environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Develop Python and SQL automation and use APIs and CLI tools to manage infrastructure.
- Design CI/CD pipelines and DataOps workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Implement platform observability, logging, and operational monitoring using Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Support enterprise governance, change requests, audit-compliant applications, budget controls, and compute-cost optimization.
- Assist with scaling AI workloads, integrating AI technologies, and supporting MLOps capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing IaC with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python and SQL and with managing infrastructure through APIs and CLI tools.
- At least 2 years of experience with Databricks platform architecture, administration, and distributed processing environments.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and DataOps workflows with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing observability, logging, and operational monitoring with Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Experience with enterprise governance, change requests, and audit-compliant applications.
- Preferred experience includes 5+ years with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java; 3+ years configuring Databricks components; Unity Catalog administration; workflows; Delta Lake architecture; AI workloads; and MLOps capabilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
