Base Salary
$120k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, enhance, modify, and integrate complex software systems based on documented requirements.
- Design and code software, develop algorithms, analyze system and performance requirements, and resolve reported problems and defects.
- Program PLCs, data acquisition systems, control systems, and time-synchronization interfaces.
- Test software components, execute test procedures, document results, and review software and system documentation.
- Develop database and data-repository interfaces and queries and support software design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
- Contribute to software strategies, requirements, process standards, and solutions for U.S. Navy launch test facility R&D programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- At least six years of software programming experience in complex engineering environments.
- Experience with FactoryTalk, LabVIEW, Studio 5000, PLC programming, data acquisition systems, control systems, and time synchronization across different interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, familiarity with U.S. Navy weapons-system software, and experience using Interface Control Documents and software requirements documents.
