Base Salary
$73k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop features for embedded applications operating on unmanned robotic vehicles.
- Participate in requirements development, design, implementation, testing, systems engineering, software integration, and field support.
- Diagnose and correct reported defects and continuously refactor code for reuse and maintainability.
- Write understandable C and C++ code using design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system simulation.
- Develop and support vehicle-control, programmable-actuator, perception-sensor, and device-driver functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 3–5 years of professional experience designing and implementing embedded, real-time software systems using C/C++ for embedded processors.
- Familiarity with large multithreaded embedded applications running on an RTOS.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and unmanned vehicle systems.
- Experience or knowledge of device drivers, flash programming tools, TCP, UDP, CAN, SPI, RS232, ROS/ROS2, GPS, LIDAR, RADAR, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Ability to work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
