Responsibilities
- Build intuitive user interfaces, robust backend services, and APIs across the full stack.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle from ideation and design through development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build and maintain scalable systems supporting Veo’s platform and user base.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and data modeling.
- Maintain performance, reliability, and maintainability across owned systems.
- Collaborate with AI and platform teams to integrate insights and video-driven features.
- Contribute to engineering culture through collaboration, code reviews, and shared product ownership.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in a product-led environment.
- Have experience building and operating full-stack applications using backend technologies such as Python, Django, or PGSQL and frontend technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Be comfortable designing maintainable systems and making architectural trade-offs.
- Be able to collaborate with Product and Design on user-facing features.
- Take a thoughtful approach to testing, CI/CD, and production-quality systems.
- Be open to modern AI tools in software development and curious about new tools, technologies, and working methods.
- Interest in sports, video technologies, or data-driven insights is preferred.
