Responsibilities
- Own features end to end from database schema and backend services through APIs and React/Next.js user interfaces.
- Build production-grade full-stack web applications and backend services consumed by applications, internal tools, and AI agents or LLMs.
- Develop and productionize agentic workflows, tool-calling interfaces, LLM-powered automation, and AI-assisted tooling.
- Architect distributed systems for scalability, fault tolerance, data consistency, and clear service boundaries.
- Apply observability, SLAs/SLOs, incident response, and post-incident reviews to maintain production reliability.
- Design and optimize relational database schemas, joins, indexes, and query performance.
- Write clean, tested, production-grade frontend and backend code.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product, QA, DevOps, and UX or design teams while proactively clarifying requirements and surfacing blockers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience across full-stack development, with flexibility based on demonstrated technical depth.
- 1–2 years of hands-on production experience building, integrating, or operating AI-agentified applications, including agentic workflows, tool-calling, RAG, or LLM-powered features.
- Experience owning systems designed for scale and reliability.
- Strong JavaScript, React, Next.js, Python, and backend API development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB, including schema design, joins, indexing, and query optimization.
- Working knowledge of distributed systems, service decomposition, consistency models, caching, queuing or messaging, and failure handling.
- Understanding of observability, SLAs/SLOs, error budgets, operational runbooks, latency, cost, rate limiting, and AI safety or guardrails.
- Preferred experience with ADK, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks and production deployment.
- Preferred familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, Docker, CI/CD, Git, unit and integration testing, Tailwind, MUI, Redux, Zustand, and cloud-native development on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
