Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows, playbooks, and scripts for cyber incident triage, investigation, and remediation.
- Administer and engineer enterprise SOAR platforms, including architecture planning, health monitoring, and version upgrades.
- Develop API integrations connecting SOAR platforms with security tools, threat intelligence platforms, and IT service management systems.
- Write and optimize Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripts for data parsing, alert enrichment, and response actions.
- Troubleshoot playbook execution errors, failed integrations, and data-ingestion bottlenecks.
- Integrate Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel with SOAR platforms for bidirectional automated alert triage and response.
- Document automation code, architecture, and playbook logic and train SOC personnel on automated workflows.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience with a high school diploma, 10 years with an associate degree, 8 years with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
- DoW TS/SCI clearance is required.
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification and DoW 8140 compliance under Work Role Code 451, System Administrator—Intermediate level or higher, are required by September 1, 2026.
- Experience in DoW or DoD enterprise network environments is desired.
- Familiarity with Git, SIEM engineering, log management, EDR/XDR technologies, and cloud-native automation tools is desired.
