Responsibilities
- Own the design, reliability, and performance of core AI services as the technical authority.
- Build scalable and fault-tolerant cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop secure, documented public APIs and SDKs for internal and external developers.
- Collaborate across data pipelines, orchestration, and service APIs to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Implement security controls for sensitive data and secure access to AI services.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote continuous learning and innovation.
- Contribute to AI model deployment, training, and AI tooling development.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, preferably developing platform or cloud-native services with Microsoft and .NET technologies.
- Hands-on experience with containerized deployments in Kubernetes.
- Strong expertise in RESTful API design, versioning, testing, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in API security, authentication, authorization, and data privacy practices.
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering to complete development tasks.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose scalable solutions.
- Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating across global R&D locations.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members.
- Desirable: familiarity with RAG, tool-calling, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, LLM trade-offs, MCP, A2A, and automated AI evaluation or benchmarking tools.
