Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end system design for complex initiatives spanning browser runtimes and backend ad servers.
- Influence multi-year architectural roadmaps, system boundaries, and API contracts across client tagging, ad serving, and privacy infrastructure.
- Design abstractions, guardrails, and AI workflows that improve codebase simplicity, team velocity, and reliability.
- Design A/B experiments and high-volume telemetry pipelines to evaluate performance, latency, and monetization.
- Provide technical leadership, review designs and code, break down complex problems, and coach engineers into senior roles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience in C++ or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- 3 years of full-stack development experience across backend and frontend technologies.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects.
- Preferred experience with high-throughput C++ backend serving architectures, TypeScript/JavaScript web platform internals, browser security and privacy models, cross-origin iframes, HTTP/edge routing, and emerging browser standards.
- Preferred experience with online controlled experimentation, causal inference, high-volume telemetry and data analysis, digital advertising, ad-serving infrastructure, or web platform engineering.
- Proven ability to design, evolve, and operate large-scale, low-latency distributed backend systems and influence technical direction across organizational boundaries.
