Base Salary
$209k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.
- Design and implement large-scale distributed, full-stack, and cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Build and deploy AI-powered risk-management solutions in partnership with GRC teams, product managers, architects, and product leaders.
- Define platform roadmaps, shared-services strategy, system architecture, and long-term technology direction.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, observability practices, and enterprise-wide technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, excluding internships.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master's degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and 5+ years with open-source frameworks and front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience mentoring senior engineers, leading architecture reviews, implementing observability and reliability practices, influencing technology strategy, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, and interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
