Responsibilities
- Build instrumentation and monitoring systems for performance tracking.
- Contribute to backend services and dashboards for engagement metrics.
- Develop tooling to identify and resolve user journey friction.
- Support experimentation infrastructure for product changes.
- Contribute to recommendation algorithms and services.
- Build data infrastructure for recommendation models.
- Instrument personalization systems to measure impact.
- Maintain data pipelines and services for large-scale data processing.
- Write clean, well-tested code for data transformation.
- Contribute to data architecture for ad-tech integrations.
- Support engineering behind commission calculation systems.
- Build tools for sales quota-setting and commission simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand tooling needs.
- Automate operational reporting to enhance team efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python or Java.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with data pipelines or backend services through projects or internships.
- Exposure to distributed data processing concepts is a plus.
- Basic understanding of A/B testing and experimental design principles.
