Base Salary
$116k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and contribute to tooling that collects and processes large-scale performance data from vehicles and simulations.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest and transform data into a warehouse for visualization and analysis.
- Develop tooling to discover and diagnose software and hardware performance problems.
- Support data-driven performance experimentation and help autonomy engineers determine cause-and-effect relationships between onboard events.
- Collaborate with Autonomy, Sensing, and Vehicle Platform Infrastructure engineers on optimization efforts.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ or Python and software design skills.
- Knowledge of ETL pipelines.
- Ability to apply statistical and machine learning methods to data analysis.
- Experience with Linux fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of cloud storage and cloud-based data pipelines.
- Preferred: experience in data science and data engineering on cloud platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with Linux operating system fundamentals and performance optimization for soft real-time systems.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $116,000–$174,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
- Expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week, with some roles requiring up to 5 days per week.
