Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and build a centralized context layer that provides grounded, team-specific knowledge to AI agents.
- Design agentic workflows for code generation, automated test creation, PR pre-review, and deployment validation.
- Build AI-powered operational workflows for incident triage, log and metric correlation, root cause analysis, and guided resolution.
- Develop coordinated multi-agent workflows for implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Create standardized AI development environments and drive team-wide adoption through pairing, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and feedback.
- Build production-grade applied AI infrastructure and agentic systems without training LLMs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of significant focus on applied AI systems.
- Production experience building and deploying agentic AI systems, including agent architectures, tool integration, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience building AI infrastructure for end-to-end software development workflows, including coding assistants, context engineering, and automated testing.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering production-grade systems.
- Deep experience with retrieval-augmented generation, including document indexing, embedding strategies, retrieval pipelines, and grounding techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JVM languages.
- Ability to drive technical adoption through pairing, architecture reviews, trust-building, and team enablement.
- Preferred experience as a first or early AI engineer, familiarity with context engineering, tool use, function calling, structured outputs, multi-agent coordination, and evaluation methodologies.
- Preferred experience integrating AI into CI/CD pipelines and building operational tooling for incident response, log analysis, and diagnostics.

- Annual salary and stock option compensation structure with no bonuses; the stated compensation range is $600,000.00-$1,066,000.00 and varies by location.
