Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and services addressing business and user requirements.
- Implement scoped features and enhancements using established coding standards, architectural patterns, and development practices.
- Improve application reliability, scalability, and performance through maintainable code and peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and application teams on technical initiatives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues using root-cause analysis.
- Participate in requirements refinement, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Apply secure coding, testing, and documentation standards to ensure software quality and compliance.
- Develop and administer ServiceNow solutions, workflows, integrations, and cloud onboarding and governance automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or equivalent education, software engineering training, or work-related experience.
- In-depth information systems knowledge and ability to apply IT best practices.
- Understanding of business processes and competitive strategies related to IT.
- Preferred experience supporting enterprise cloud governance, enablement, onboarding, or cloud operations.
- Preferred three or more years developing and administering ServiceNow solutions, workflows, and integrations.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow development, JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and platform automation.
- Experience with ServiceNow Request Management, Service Catalog, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Change Management, and workflow automation.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, system integrations, and cloud onboarding and governance automation.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including provisioning, operations, and governance.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments and cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, process improvement, risk assessment, dependency assessment, and operational impact analysis skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across cloud engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and application teams.
- Certified Application Developer certification; ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and AWS, Azure, or ITIL certifications are preferred or advantageous.
