Responsibilities
- Lead a team or cross-functional squad in delivering complex and ambiguous software projects.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for technical design, implementation, and operational considerations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Develop and disseminate standardized, sustainable engineering best practices, tools, patterns, and frameworks.
- Own a major portion of existing or new team software, such as a significant component, feature set, application, or service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical leadership, including leading a team or cross-functional squad.
- Experience working with both backend services and mobile technologies.
- Exceptional programming skills and knowledge of building APIs using modern object-oriented languages, preferably Java.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, service-oriented architecture, HTTP, and REST.
- Experience with AWS and a strong understanding of cloud-based development.
- Extensive, demonstrable experience designing secure architectures that perform at scale.
