Responsibilities
- Own and drive technical strategy for a significant business outcome or technology domain across multiple teams.
- Lead and coordinate multiple teams so their work aligns with business objectives and technology strategy.
- Identify emerging patterns, define and evangelise best practices, and establish reusable frameworks that improve engineering productivity.
- Drive service quality standards and guide complex incident resolution for the domain.
- Mentor and develop engineers and foster continuous learning.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Java, system design, and distributed architectures.
- A track record of leading technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- A strong track record of technical leadership and influence without authority.
- Experience driving engineering standards and best practices across organisations.
