Responsibilities
- Identify and solve ambiguous security, trust, or safety problems with impact across multiple teams.
- Architect scalable security systems and AI-driven security capabilities and drive platform-level technical decisions.
- Lead adversarial research, threat intelligence, detection, response, or investigation methodologies augmented by AI.
- Define scalable methodologies for translating security expertise into improved AI capabilities.
- Set security engineering quality standards, processes, workflows, and automation practices across teams.
- Drive cross-organizational partnerships and influence technical direction at the intersection of security and AI.
- Own technically complex workstreams, mentor engineers, build community, and communicate updates to leadership.
- Share findings through internal publications, knowledge sharing, and contributions to the broader security community.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on security engineering experience in areas such as detection engineering, threat intelligence, incident response, cloud security, adversary simulation, offensive security, mobile or platform security, digital forensics, or trust and safety.
- Deep expertise in attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures, with the ability to advance the state of the art.
- Coding proficiency with experience in Python or Rust.
- Experience architecting security systems or programs that operate at scale and influence how others build.
- Ability to define and drive complex, ambiguous problem spaces with group-level impact.
- Experience driving alignment and resolution across multiple teams and cross-functional partners.
- Preferred experience includes supply chain security, mobile platform security, network protocol security, AI/ML security, cloud-native defense, AI model improvement, responsible AI, forensic investigation, Trust & Safety investigations, adversary simulation, and security community contributions.

- Base salary of $184,000/year to $257,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
