Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture, design, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality software solutions with comprehensive automated test coverage.
- Partner with product owners, software architects, and engineers to deliver incremental product enhancements.
- Improve engineering processes, development practices, and team productivity.
- Monitor large-scale production applications and perform log analysis, debugging, maintenance, and on-call support.
- Use AI-assisted development practices and productivity tools to accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on production Java development experience, ideally with Java 8 or later.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or another cloud provider, including technologies such as ECS, SQS, S3, ElastiCache, IAM, and Lambda.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Experience building scalable cloud systems using microservice and/or serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and willingness to adopt new technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include Scala, large-scale SaaS application development and monitoring, multi-repository Git codebases, RESTful web services, Blazemeter, shell scripts, and automated delivery pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and continuous-learning skills.
