Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance APIs and microservices components.
- Support containerization and Kubernetes migration activities, including deployments, pod monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement application enhancements and region-specific configuration changes.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and develop unit tests while supporting integration testing and defect resolution.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline execution, deployment validation, troubleshooting, documentation, knowledge sharing, and production issue investigation.
- Collaborate with developers, SDET engineers, and technical leads during sprint delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Working knowledge of Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including application deployments, pod monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing APIs and integrating backend services.
- Knowledge of Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
- Understanding of microservices communication, exception handling, and application logging.
- Preferred: exposure to payments or financial services applications, Kafka or other messaging systems, Helm, cloud environments, and Agile/Scrum teams.
